Directions

Take Lipitor exactly as it was prescribed by your doctor.
It is recommended to take Lipitor by mouth with or without food.
Avoid drinking grapefruit juice and eating grapefruit while on the Lipitor therapy.
Take Lipitor regularly at the same time each day.
Try not to miss any doses. If you do, take it as soon as you remember. However, do not take two doses at the same time. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule.
Do not take more tablets, than prescribed by the doctor, at a time. In case of overdose, seek for the medical attention immediately.
Store Lipitor at room temperature in a tightly closed container, avoding moisture, heat and freezing cold.

You should not anticipate any side effects. However, if you feel any or all of the following symptoms contact your doctor immediately:
